No one criticises sky because there are so many other cheap ways to connect from your own home and they are commitment free. On the mobile side of things, once you've signed a contract with a provider you're stuck paying them for however long and you may even have a locked phone. So you're trapped in the walled garden. With sky you get their walled garden plus any other service you fancy.
