yeah I truly agree with you. MySql is a very good database to be use especially when you're doing an e-commerce site, the security is really robust and its free and easy to use.I've guess if their will be any change made on MySql that will be for the betterment not for the worst right?

I hate it when I finally learn a program and then it changes. Hopefully only for the better I guess.

The main thing I suppose for MYSQL is that the changes have stronger security. It had a good run so far but some security issues to deal with.

glad to hear mysql is still popular and that microsoft and the other "big boys" don't have a monopoly on databases...
