I think Microsoft is a great company. Hey, they've been at the top of their game for 2 decades now and were a crucial element in putting the pc everywhere.
BUT times are a changing. Today Ubuntu is a viable alternative, open office does a great job and firefox bypasses explorer in every imaginable measure.
I think more and more people will make the move to opensource. I'm even seeing large corporations testing it so that makes it real in my mind.

Yup, I agree. I bet we'll all be running Google apps in the future.
