Yes, I am assuming that if you examine the evidence from purdy et al and if the claims that people have received email admissions are true then they are in fact guilty.


When you look at the posts they back themselves into a corner, who would want to promote JBoss and simultaneously smear the opponents? I am sure the practice was much more widespread than just where they were caught - if there were a way to review the posts that bash JRun more closely and see where many of those came from, I think we would find a similar pattern.


JBoss has consistently used PR to try to make everyone else look like the bad guys, now that the tables are turned I hope they enjoy a taste of their own medicine.
