I completely agree with the above.
Ability to syncronize (handheld (also wince), mobile phone) will be crucial for users' acceptance of sunbird. otherwise, outlook will continue to play in its own league.

Agree. One thing i like with Mozilla suite is the ability to use the Mail client, and know when you receive mails, even if the window is closed. I would like to see this kind of functionality, or at least the choice to use it. It's like the quick launch option with Mozilla... it reduce the number of opened windows but continue to work for you. I know it's contradictory to the Firefox / Thunderbird projects but it's a useful functionality in the end.
