Controlling Screen Savers

How do you control screen savers in XFCE4?  When I leave the computer sitting 
for a while a screen saver pops up.  Sometimes, the screen locks (requiring a 
password) and sometimes it doesn't.  How do I regulate when it does and when 
it doesn't?
