Hi,

I am seriously considering switching from KDE because I have found
that I rarely use any of the KDE apps any more except for quanta. What are people's choices for a web development tool like quanta or
does quanta work well with Xfce? Also, my kids like the KDE
education stuff. Does that work well with Xfce?

Quanta works fine under xfce, Also the edu stuff works just fine. In fact most kde and gnome stuff works well under xfce.

I agree, quanta is OK and does work under Xfce. If you care to look at something else though, try Nvu. It is open source and multi-platformed - nice to take back to the dreaded M$ side when you need to be there. Syntax on............

Big or small, a challenge requires the same commitment to resolve.
