The tree view is easier...that's for certain,
However, drag and drop between windows is my current
problem. I might whip one of those up and put it in a
paned window on the side or something. Shouldn't take
too long to do.

xfce4-panel sometimes exits when removing tray icon
Hi,
Does anyone have a problem using the taskbar including systray? Mine
occasionally crashes when removing icons, ie closing the app that was
running. It seems to happen more often with wine, but also with
rhythmbox and gaim.
Cheers,

Maybe it could be a configurable feature that can be disabled for people
who don't like that sort of thing.
