[Unattended] find-boot-device failed with SATA drives: msg#00086

Subject: [Unattended] find-boot-device failed with SATA drives

The tftpboot linux initrd file does not seem to have the needed drivers to support the SATA disk controller in native mode.  It does work if you change the SATA operation from "Normal" to "Combination" in the system BIOS.

Are there any plans to update this to handle the new drives?

Hardware used is a Dell Optiplex GX620 with an 80Gb SATA drive.

Thanks,
