windows.unattended.general

It should be "ignore-err 194" not "ignore-error 194"

Not quite right.

I do not only _removed_ ".reboot-on 194" but _replaced_ it with
".ignore-error 194" so the install will not fail!

My goal was to use everything the "unattended way" except the reboot
mania with the updates.

I can not see how Autopatcher fits in... one thing are the missing
languages supported by this tool.

just my 2 cents...

Hmm, I tried replacing the ".reboot-on 194" with ".ignore-error 194" on
a system I installed with Unattended, but then get the following
message: "Unrecognized pseudo-command .ignore-error 194
z:\updates\blah\blah\win-kb.exe" and "todo.pl exiting with status 255 ;
Halting", and then the installer, well, halts.

Anyone have any idea why this is happening, if Jan got this working like so?

I would love to get rid of the crazy reboot marathon (the switch
/norestart is not doing it) particularly if I'm installing hotfixes
quickly from our own network to an unpatched box.
