hm - I don't think so, becouse the pathes are ALL copied down to my HDD and
it is one of the first path whith the
subdirs missing! i've subdirs with longer title which are added to the
Unattended file. (all shorter than 64 chars!)
But this leads to my next question. If I've understand right the
Installerprogramm "winnt" has the problem
whith folders longer than 64 chars, isn't it possible to copy all the files
to HDD bevor entering DOS-Emulation-Mode,
with the "native linux tools" as for example
cp /z/os/whatever/I386 /c/I386/
and then run the "winnt" exe from /c/ ?

My guess would be that your total path lenght exceeds an annoying limit of
the Windows setup.
I think a path longer than 64 characters will be truncated and not copied,
leading to the installation to fail miserably.
At least this is what I experienced here...

[Unattended] Keeping up with the CVS build
I'm new to the whole CVS stuff, is there some tool I can use to keep all my
files current with the CVS? I'm using the script-update, but I want to also
watch other files in the project that are not scripts.

Just an FYI for others:
I know it's not part of the official scripts, but the ad-aware installer (from
the wiki) fails to taskkill the help window and the full scan because taskkill
is not part of the XP Home install.
I grabbed pskill.exe from sysinternals and used that instead:
Hi Phil,
another possibility to fix the problem:
copy taskkill.exe from an existing Win-XP-Pro PC to
\\server\install\bin. Have not tested this, but may work.

I had that issue with one my my drivers. I worked around the issue by
increasing the value of MAX_PATH_LENGTH in dosemu/src/dosext/mfs/mfs.h
from 57 to 80.

RE: [Unattended] OemPnPDriversPath
Isn't the limit a SAMBA or Linux thing? I remember when I used the DOS
boot disk, the directory structure I had was fine. However, when I
moved to the Linux boot disk, I had to reorganize things a bit.
