Subject: AW: [Unattended] OemPnPDriversPath - msg#00115

hm - I don't think so, becouse the pathes are ALL copied down to my HDD and
it is one of the first path whith the
subdirs missing! i've subdirs with longer title which are added to the
Unattended file. (all shorter than 64 chars!)

But this leads to my next question. If I've understand right the
Installerprogramm "winnt" has the problem
whith folders longer than 64 chars, isn't it possible to copy all the files
to HDD bevor entering DOS-Emulation-Mode,
with the "native linux tools" as for example
cp /z/os/whatever/I386 /c/I386/
and then run the "winnt" exe from /c/ ?

My guess would be that your total path lenght exceeds an annoying limit of
the Windows setup.
I think a path longer than 64 characters will be truncated and not copied,
leading to the installation to fail miserably.
At least this is what I experienced here...
