RE: NUnit Version Numbering: msg#00024windows.dotnet.nunit.devel
Charlie, I'll look into this later this week. It should be possible. By the way, Mono's tests don't look like NUnit tests. They seem like pretty weird classes mostly, with no uniform naming conventions or framework of any kind. I'll take another look though... I ran the build of Mono this morning to see whether it used NUnit. It takes a LOOOOONG time, and I had to leave it running before I went to work. I'll look in on it as soon as I get home. I'll also scan through the make files to see when/if and how NUnit is used. -----Original Message----- From: Charlie Poole [mailto:charlie@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Sunday, December 11, 2005 7:49 PM To: 'Kamil Skalski'; 'Gert Driesen' Cc: Rubenstein, Shmarya; 'Matt Hargett'; nunit-developer@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: [nunit-developer] NUnit Version Numbering >From my point of view, this solves one part of the problem: the ability to run a .Net 1.1 versus a .Net 2.0 NUnit build on mono. Ideally, we could extend it to allow multiple versions of NUnit... NUnit developers need this ability because compatibility from version to version is an NUnit objective. As an aside, I'm still not convinced that a single build of NUnit couldn't be made to work on Mono, just as it works on Windows .Net.
