I get the feeling the NAnt related development on the source forge side
is currently stagnating.
There are many people in the NAnt community that have written their own
tasks and functions, but these are not easily obtainable (or
submittable). It is somewhat difficult and time consuming to go through
all the requirements to submit a change to Nant contrib, and therefore
most people, even if they want to, dont get their changes into Nant contrib.
I would like to suggest that we create a "web 2.0" community website
that people can upload their own NAnt tasks and functions - as is. They
can upload them without the constraints of formatting, comments, unit
tests and sourceforge write permission. Then other people can comment,
or change the code realtime, in a more interactive manner.
Any ideas of a good place to host such a discussion group?
From my side, I have a library of tasks and functions to contribute.
