Just update would be better, but unfortunetelly for me it doesnt work on SVN (atleast on 1.0.5) when deleting folders with created files/subfolders. I'll post it as "bug" to SVN team. For edited files: it is smell indeed. But still we have to fight it. <asminfo> ot simmilar is not so uncommon. And nobody (atleast I don't) want commit modified AssemblyInfo.cs back to repository. Problem here maybe is lack of SVN alternative to "clean update" you are using in CVS sourcecontrol (and ccnetlive).
