The idea is that working directory is the base directory of where source is checked out into, then everything else (builders and tasks) uses that as a relative directory base. Right now, the builders *do* use Project Working Directory but Perforce is the only SCM to use it. To get the benefit of Working Directory *right now*, you should manually set your SCM to use the same working directory as the Project Working Directory. The whole point of this is for remote configuration where you *don't know* absolute paths of places where things are checked out, so you need a relative directory scheme that fits together. (which is what will happen once all the SCM's use Project.WD) Does that make more sense?
