Summary: WixUI should use standalone Publish elements
Initial Comment:
WixUI should use the newly supported standalone Publish
elements (they nest directly underneath a UI element)
to define the dialog flow for all the standard dialog
sets. This will make it easier to tweak the flow for
the wix devs as well as for end users that need to
create their own customized flow.

This has been partially submitted. I now need to go back
and remove the extraneous properties and clean things up a
litte. Please do not use this functionality until next week
when it should finally be done.

Summary: Optimize WiX QTests for multi-proc machines
Initial Comment:
It would be nice if the WiX QTests took advantage of
multi-proc machines to avoid leaving a CPU completely
unused.

Summary: NANT Light Task Multiple locfile attributes
Initial Comment:
Can the NANT tasks be udpated to allow for multiple
locfile attributes to be specified in the build scripts?
Reasoning:
We base our ui wixlib on the source for current
versions of wix (2.0 line) and add new wxl files to
contain the additional strings we need. This keeps our
changes very modular so that we can update with the
latest versions of WiX very easily. As a result, we
cannot use the nant build scripts since we can't
specify multiple wxl files. Would it be possible to
change this code to allow multiple wxl files, perhaps
in the same manner that multiple source files can be
added? Thanks.

[ wix-Bugs-1526833 ] Deleting the .MSI if the ICE checks fail... not good?

Summary: Deleting the .MSI if the ICE checks fail... not good?
Initial Comment:
If an ICE produces an error the .MSI seems to be
deleted. This can lead to error messages that there is
no straight-forward way to diagnose.
For example, given the following custom action:
<CustomAction
Id="Set_ARPREADME"
Property="ARPREADME"
Value="[TARGETDIR]\ReadMe.Txt"
Execute="deferred" />
This compiles fine, links fine, but generates the
following ICE error:
.\Product.wxs(142) : error LGHT0204 : ICE68: Invalid
custom action type for action 'Set_ARPREADME'.
Because the error message does not display the custom
action type it is a bit difficult to determine what
exactly is wrong.
I'm sure it would be a lot of work... but shouldn't
all the ICE checks be incorporated into Candle/Light
directly?
Regards,
Rob
