Summary: Directory support in votive projects

Initial Comment:
Multiple issues:

Directory support is handled different compared to
regular VS projects. That may not be a bug, but it is
somewhat confusing.

When a directory is added from within VS, votive tries to
create the directory on disk. If the directory already
exists, this fails. However, there is no possibilty to use
an already existing directory, since you cannot
use "Add existing..." and use that (or maybe you can
and I just haven't bothered to look close enough).

When a new directory is added and created by votive, it
is called "NewFolder". If one tries to change the name
from withing VS, an error pops up, saying that the new
directory name does not exist. Thereafter, votive
changes the name on disk. If one tries to change the
name on disk first, and then from within VS, votive still
complains.

To reproduce:
1. Create a new directory by right-clicking on the project
in the Solution Explorer and clicking Add -> New Folder.
2. Type the name of the folder and press enter.

Votive complains that the folder does not exist and then
fails with an assertion.

If two directories are created from within VS, and one
tries to change the name of the second directory, this
fails with the error message "Index was out of range.
Must be non-negative and less than the size of the
collection. Parameter name: index"

Sorry about the delay.

I am currently using v2.0.3116.0. I haven't been able to install
v2.0.3220.0 due to bug 1265941.

Can you specify which build you are using? I believe these
issues have been fixed, but it's possible that I have a
regression.
