Re: Marshaling a byte array by ref: msg#00007windows.devel.jawin
It is most definately a COM API. The vendor of the API for this device I'm trying to communicate with via JAVA supplied a simplified Win32 GUI app to exercise the device with. Thet also supplied the complete VC++ 6.0 source and project for me to work with. So I can very graphically see the COM interaction and the VT values being passed back and forth. For the heck of it I change a VT_BYREF to VT_ARRAY per you thoughts and as expected it crashed. I'll reserve further comments until I hear back from you, but wanted at a minimum to confirms that we were dealing with COM. Al Harper |
