Dynamically load HttpModule?

Is it possible to dynamically load an HttpModule without modifying the
web.config file? If not, is there another way to dynamically hook into
the PreRequestHandlerExecute event not using the Global.asax file?

I'm trying to have a separate set of code, on first execute from a page
hook into the PreRequestHandlerExecute event. This same code is disposed
of when the page is disposed though and I need this event handler to
stick around for all subsequent pages in the application. Loading a
module would be perfect, if it can be done dynamically.
