RadioButtonList Page LifeCycle

Hello,

I have a RadioButtonList in a DataList to represent an on/off value in a
EditItemTemplate. What I'd like to do is create dynamic javascript based on
the control names as they are when the grid is in edit mode. Problem is
there doesnt seem to be a elegant way to get a hold of the the string that
is appended to the id of the control (id=dlBorrower__ctl1_THE_CONTROL_NAME)
if I could just figure out where in the page life cycle this is happening
and a way to determine what is to be appended , I'd be set..
