Randr support

Hello,

  I was running Sawfish 1.2 with KDE 3.1, and wanted to use Randr to
change the screen size. So I ran "xrandr -s 1". It changed the screen
size in a none virtual desktop way, but kpanel and the windows didn't
change with it. I tried maximizing a window and it maximized like it was
still at the orginal higher resolution. So then I tried switching the
window manager to metacity. I found metacity would maximize the window
currently after a resolution change. Though the kpanel still didn't
change. Next I tried upgrading from sawfish 1.2 to 1.3, and received the
same results. Next I logged in as a test user. It uses the default of
Metacity and Gnome 2.2. After changing the resolution both the panel and
windows behaved properly. So it seems Sawfish lacks Randr support.

  Is support being worked on? If so, any ETA? If not, what will it
require?
