I have this problem too, and have had it ever since gnome2.0 /
sawfish1.1. There are some bugzilla reports about it in gnome's and
redhat's bugzillas. It could be the fault of X, sawfish, or the
kernel... nobody knows for sure where the problem is, as far as I know.

I have posted it 17 Mar but nobody answer me.
I upgraded to 1.3 this bug is allways present.
Bug description:
I have shortcuts:
Ctrl-Alt-x for starting gnome-terminal
Ctrl-Shift-x for starting root account gnome-terminal
Ctrl-Alt-c for starting gnome-terminal with mc
Ctrl-Shift-c for starting root account gnome-terminal with mc
After this keyboard start to eat letters 'x' a 'c'.
When I write quickly I receice often:
d /etc
instead
cd /etc
or
cd /eport
instead
cd /export
Every shortcuts have the same problem. When I press Ctrl-Alt-x I very
often receive nothing but after second shortcut press I receive two (or
more) terminals. Sometimes I recevie two terminal on first pressing.
When I disable repeating keys (in keyboard-properties) or set longest
repeat delay everyting work OK. It seems sawfish have some looping
problem with gnome2. It sometimes react instantly but often after while
(half to one second)
I'm not not able efectively debug or test it more. Can you instruct me,
how can I do it?
I tested it on two computers with 2 RedHat Phoebe beta version (.93,
.94), it was 4 instalations, with the same results.
Can anybody test it if he receive the same results?
Can anybody solve it?
