Between now and the Summer of 2012 London is supposedly hosting the cultural Olympiad. But one might suspect that the Olympics committee is neglecting that and concentrating on the sporting side of the Olympics. However it would tick a few boxes if this could be presented as a mass volunteer cultural event, part of the cultural Olympics with a permanent digital legacy.
