Migrating simple blog on plone 2.5 to news items in plone 3

Hi!

As the subject says, I was wondering if it was possible to migrate the
simple blog data from a plone 2.5 install to news items in plone 3. Where do
i start, I'm pretty new to plone, so any pointers or newbie bashing is
welcome! :)
