Well, Archetypes has a field property called "schemata" which is actually used for grouping. Thus all fields with the same value in schemata will be grouped together and rendered together. This looks right now like a submenu inside the actual edit tab. Thus you cannot do the first thing and group fields together with more than one group per view. You can do the latter if I understand you right. Maybe just test it with ArchExample and add some schemata='group1' or so to the field definitions.
