Subject: Re: Re: Has Archetypes been documented somewhere for newbies...

this looks really cool. I know some other people have done similiar
work. is it possible for there to be a sf.net project opened and
have the code in CVS, or simply use it in the collective?

I would like to know if Archetypes has been documented as a step by
step example somewhere, so that newbies can read and utilze it.

May you are interested in ArchGenXML: "ArchGenXML is a commandline utility that generates Plone applications (products) based on the Archetypes framework from XMI (UML) and XSD (XMLSchema) files.

Design your Archetypes (code for content objects in plone) local using a UML design tool. Export it to XMI or XSD and generate Phyton code for use as a Product. This new Product is available as a new item (document) type in the Plone userinterface."
