I've implemented a test "page preview" feature at

how a preview might be put together.

In looking at it I think that the previews will need to be able to
handle the [[include:]], GroupHeaders/GroupFooters, and other directives
in order to be useful. Anyone agree or disagree?

I have given it a go at
http://intranet.affinity.co.nz/tertiary/index.php/Main/WikiSandbox

Preview supports includes, group headers and footers, [[no...]] directives and
so on.

It works as a local customisation.

It's fully customisable -- I have redefined the header and footer to make it
clear it's a preview, but it could retain the "browse" values.

It is also possible to enhance the [[include:...]] markup processing so that
includes across groups retain working wiki links. If this would be a useful
feature...
