special characters in FTP URL: msg#00011web.wget.general
Hello, I´m having problems with encoding special characters in the FTP URI. The URL I´m trying to access has a username with a slash in it, such as user/name. So the wget command I´m using is: wget.exe --passive-ftp --glob=on ftp://user%2Fname:password@ip-adress/*.zip However, wget writes: --10:08:04-- ftp://userFname:*password*@ipadress/*.zip => `.listing´ Connecting to ip-adress:21 .... connected. Logging in as userFname ... Login incorrect. unlink: No such file or directory So login fails - what´s wrong ? Thanks for any help.
