Off the top of my head I don't know the wget switches such as -O ... 
however, in GENERAL terms, if you have a program that sends messages to 
stdout and also sends error messages to stderr, you have to say something 
like...

foo > /dev/null 2> /dev/null

The first "> /dev/null" gets rid of regular messages, and the "2> 
/dev/null" dumps error messages.
