Re: Sendmail Mail Queue module changes?

Kris Deugau wrote: I've recently updated all the servers here to 1.070, but I noticed something a little odd in the sendmail mailqueue display. All messages are shown as "Sending", even though most are postmaster bounces to spammers from accounts that are full of spam because the user doesn't read their mail. I don't recall if this happened with 1.060; any ideas? sendmail hasn't changed in ~8 months or longer; the only other changes have been RedHat errata updates, and a recent power-failure-induced hard restart that started up with a more recent kernel version than previously. The output of mailq hasn't changed so far as I can see either. Thanks for pointing this out, it is a bug in Webmin 1.070. I have released an update at http://www.webmin.com/updates.html to fix it. - Jamie ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf - Forwarded by the Webmin mailing list at webadmin-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To remove yourself from this list, go to http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/webadmin-list

RE: webmin help

Hello Gene, I already have Webmin installed with some modules. I need to update and want to be able to manage my hosting servers using the webmin features and modules. What do I need. 1. Be able to see and manage 2 or more real(boxes) servers.(auto backup didn't work) 2. Easily, make backups with cron job (already doing that but need more.) 3. Rsync backup data between boxes. (couldn't module to work) 4. Setup some simple security. 5. Protect myself form outgoing spam and have a light spam filter on incoming mail. We use Qmail. 6. Be able to run vacuum program when needed. 7. Setup the proper modules that I need to manage my servers. We can't afford bad scripts. 8. I want to drive the car, not build it! I need directions on how to effectively use webmin and the proper modules. So I'm looking for someone with practical experience to help me.
