Webmin and Usermin is a one man operation. Ok, there are patches now and then from other folks, and every once in a while a whole module slides in from someone else...I think Postfix and QMail are examples of that. And credit is also due to the translators. But we owe thanks for the design and vast majority of the implementation to Jamie.

And I must say he (and the others who contributed) did an excelent job.

Sorry if my mail was rude or pedantic, that was just my $0.0002 :)

You weren't rude at all. I was just correcting a common misconception that something as wonderful and comprehensive as Webmin/Usermin had to be done by a group of people, when in fact just one lone coder created probably 95% of the code in the project.

It is worth stating, however, that the best way to insure a "wish" gets implemented is to start working on it yourself, or to hire one or more programmers to begin working on it (I have it on good authority that Jamie himself often does contract work at very reasonable rates). This particular wish, as Craig has mentioned, has been wished many times over the years. Your wish is closer to existing today than it was two years ago, or even a year ago...because these days we have Usermin, we have advanced ACLs, we have a nice but simple mail client, we have remote function calls, we have cluster management tools, and a lot of other behind the scenes framework features that would make such tools easier to implement. I dug in last year on such a project, but got sidetracked by keeping food on the table and a roof over my head before it got very far...I hope to get back to it eventually, but it is a lot of work and will take time.
