BIND feature request: msg#00484web.webmin.general
It would be nice if Webmin used the correct whois server to lookup information for a domain. The easiest way to provide this would be to add an extra field to each domain which would contain optional parameters to be passed to the whois command. But the best way would be for Webmin to be built with a table which maps domain siffix to whois server, with the table being editable (is there such a word?) by the user. Also, we are about to make use of the Dynamic Update feature of BIND 8 and 9. Are there any plans for Webmin to display zone information by querying the named server if it is running and to update zone information using nsupdate if "allow-updates" has been defined for a zone?
