It is, actually. In the telco industry we may have some machines in another
company's lab or a co-lo thing, and we may want to move metrics back and
forth, on their LAN, that houses other vendors equipment, that we don't want
them to sniff. SCP would work too - I'm just trying to get away from
plaintext passwords for one.
