Say I was my boss, and say I wanted to know if it was possible to have two
instances of usermin running on two ports on the same machine. What do you
think?

The reason is that he wants one that's not SSL and one that is. Long story,
self signed SSL cert for that server, etc etc. Anyway, his wife wants to be
able to read mail from work where she is a non privlaged user and can't
accept self signed certs, so she wants to be able to use the read mail
feature of usermin.

Alternately, could anyone reccomend a web mail program that reads out of
/var/spool/mail/user instead of actually connecting to the local server via
IMAP/SMTP/whatever, and that is NIS aware?

A similar discussion on running webmin on two ports (one SSL and one non-SSL)
came
up on the list not long ago. Do a search for it at
http://www.webmin.com/mailing.html .
The solution would be basically identical ..
