Re: some precision about webmin's lang directories: msg#00008web.webmin.devel
Hi folks, Emmanuel Saracco <esaracco-X2lX9bSaArc@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: >I would like to know why does it exist both a "/lang" and a >"webmin/lang" in webmin. what is the specific "role" of each of those >directories? I think this answer is going to be more of general interest. So I answer this question to all major MailingLists. ###################################################################### The Webmin-Software (and the Usermin-Software) are containing different /lang directories in order to be used for different purposes. <webmininstalldir>\lang and <webmininstalldir>\webmin\lang If you look at the contents of the "en" files in each directory things are getting clearer. The first directory deals only with the Core-Webmin, such as Login-Error-Messages and so on. These stuff is used before any module is loaded somehow or someone is logged in to Webmin/Usermin iirc. The second one deals only with the configuration of Webmin itself. ###################################################################### bis dahin - kind regards Martin Mewes -- http://webmin.mamemu.de/ Official Webmin/Usermin Translation Co-Ordinator 2003/2004 Proud Forte Agent 2.0 Beta Tester |
