I have posted to the forum in a number of places over the last few
weeks, with no response. I would really like to get some solution to
getting my info into the CRM, so would like to look at possible
solutions.
Neither my partner nor myself are very skilled in PHP, but my partner
is very skilled in the database side of things. I (we) would like to
help with developing a solution to entering many items quickly onto a
sales / purchase document.
Are there any people here that are interested in the same? and if so
where do we start?
I can think of 2 possible scenarios (from a user point of view) to edit
the current entry screen:
Either
- on the document where the product lines are entered, to have a
table of a certain number of lines that allows you to add the stock
code (possibly a new field, or one of the existing part numbers) and
quantity. If more lines are required, then another of the "certain no"
of lines can be added.
OR
- or when you select the products, instead of just a single item
search box, list with check boxes and quantity fields is availble.
Another work around for me would be to work on a import facility to
import sales documents. I could then easily generate a cvs file in a
spreadsheet to import. This is a secondary option, and should only be
looked at if the 1st is way to much work in comparison.
