Hello,

----- Forwarded message from Heiko Schlittermann <hs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> -----

Hello Joe,

I've had problems using sitecopy against some Strato-FTP-Server. The
server didn't like LIST options and slashes in directory names.

Now sitecopyrc understands a new option

ftp lsla - # do not use any options for LIST
ftp lsla -la # use -la as options for LIST (default)

If you're interested in my solution *AND* if you would put it into
the official release (of course, after a review), please let me know.

Hi, sounds interesting - can you send it in to the mailing list for
review? sitecopy@xxxxxxxx

...

Regards,

joe

So I'm doing it now. The patch is appended.

Re: sftp fails

Problem uploading language.xml in a web folder...

Hi, I uploaded a website containing this file : language.xml and it seems to upload. But after that, the sitecopy/mysite.com doesn't work anymore. And I received the info that the file is corrupted. I think it has to do with xml parsing when there's a file named .xml But i didn't dig in all this to confirm. Maybe when a filed is call xml, the parser try to parse it as an include... sftp fails (fwd)

Here's some additional information from the log file on the web server. Apparently, user authentication is going fine, but then there is the following error: [042] WinSSHD 3.30a: (snip) NetUserGetInfo() failed with the following error: Error code 5 Is it sitecopy that is calling NetUserGetInfo(), or is it the server? Also, I don't know what error code 5 is. Can anyone shed light on this?
