Initial Comment: I want to redirect one page to another. It is an machine name that I usually misspell so I end in a domain speculator site. I thought that I could do it wtih privoxy but I don't see how and since the PDFs are broken (already reported), itis diffcicult to search the documentation. The filters can't do it because the address is entered by me. It is not in any page. Maybe I could do it with set-image-blocker but itt doesn't seem right. Should I submit it as a feature request ofr is si RTFM for me? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2005-04-17 21:51 Message: Logged In: NO has to be a way because when you goto http://p.p/ proivoxy redirects to thayer config thinggy ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Mattes Dolak (xoft) Date: 2003-03-29 01:47 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=523169 for typos like goggle.com instead of google.com You might want to consider using the HOSTS file to do the redirection trick: add the line "goggle.com 216.239.51.100" to your HOSTS ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: David Mediavilla (davidme) Date: 2003-03-28 19:25 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=595264 Aha. This works for things like goggle.com. Complex URLs should abe rewritable with HTML filters. So maybe rewiriting of URLs is not very necessary. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Hal Burgiss (hal9) Date: 2003-03-28 18:46 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=322640 David, try: {{alias}} redirect = +block +handle-as-image { redirect +set-image-blocker{http://somesite.com} } x This works for me, for simple shortcuts. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=211118&aid=711673&group_id=11118 ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
