Initial Comment:
It is interesting to note that the page that supports Privoxy and asks for 
donations for a progam that does not do what it claims-does not filter user 
agent , OS and other identifying information on ssl connections a) requires ssl 
to connect to their site or register b) is a pain in the ass to register at and 
c) childlishly asks for your "true identity" to complete the registration. 
These people supposedly adovacte anonymity and privacy through their Privoxy 
program, yet attempt to compromise your identity in order to get support for 
the program. Can you spell hypocrites?
Anyone who trusts Privoxy claims that it filters privacy compromising 
information is a fool. There are better free alternatives on the net to 
Privoxy, although I have not tested them with Tor. Won't be spending too much 
time at this website as it is obvious to me they sponsor programs that do not 
work and do not really care about preserving users privacy.

Hehehe... :-)

Now, I've had times where I've tried a program that claims to do something, and 
doesn't even come close to what the description says it should do.  It honestly 
failed at it's intended job.  But Privoxy DOES work!  How do I know?  Two 
reasons: 1) It's based on Internet JunkBUSTER, and that does work very well.  
2) In my "tinkering" to explore the functionality of Privoxy, I have either 
ended up with everything allowed, as if I wasn't even using it at all, or I had 
almost everything completely blocked.

Somebody didn't RTFM before going to websites such as freeporn.com, or at least 
test his installation and configuration of Privoxy.

lol Privoxy seems to be a very promising program.  It is also sorta complicated 
and takes some time to learn how to configure.  But if you know what you're 
doing, you can make privoxy block every ad and privacy risk out there.  Also, 
privacy can mean a lot of things... If you really dont want to be found, don't 
use the internet at all.
