(It would be useful to be able to disable generation of X-Forwarded-For
headers in Polipo's config file.)
Comme Polipo ne génère pas les entêtes X-Forwarded-For, il n'y a fort
heureusement rien à configurer.
(As Polipo does not generate X-Forwarded-For headers, there's
fortunately nothing to disable.)
Shall we switch into English, out of courtesy for the readers of this list?

Patch: polipo-1.0.0 info file installs in $(INFODIR) rather than $(TARGET)$(INFODIR)
Hi there,
I've just attached a simple patch to deal with the fact that, unlike
the other installed files, the new polipo.info file in 1.0.0
(previously 0.9.99.2) does not install in a subdirectory of $
(TARGET). (If anyone wants to backport for some reason, the same
problem appears in 0.9.12.) I don't know about other port systems,
but, for those who don't know, this matters for MacPorts (née
Darwinports) because, instead of installing packages directly, it
first destroots everything into a staging directory and records the
contents of that directory tree as the contents of the port, in order
to try to prevent overwriting the contents of another port (and
possibly for some other reasons). Now if only the MacPorts
committers would get around to accepting my port update... :-)
Anyway, thank you very much for polipo.
Kind regards,
Maun Suang

Bug(?): polipo >= 0.9.12 fails to work with parent proxy passwords containing some characters
Hi again,
I just remembered a bug that I encountered a while ago while trying
to run polipo from behind an HTTP proxy requiring password
authentication: I could not connect to the internet using
polipo-0.9.12 or 0.9.99.2 with the password that I had at the time
(placed with the username in parentAuthCredentials), but it worked
when using polipo-0.9.11. Unfortunately, I neglected to try changing
my password to see exactly which of the characters were causing the
problem, but the non-alphanumeric characters it contained were ">",
"(", "-", "@" and "^". I'm confident that the username wasn't a
problem as it was all lowercase letters. I may be on that connection
again in a few days, so if you need further information about this
problem, I'll see if I can get it for you.
Kind regards,
Maun Suang
