Search the polipo mailing list archives for details, but the short
answer is that the shoutcast/icecast/other servers you are connecting
to are responding to an HTTP request with a non HTTP response
(ICY/version or something like that).  Polipo /could/ treat this as an
HTTP/0.9 response (which seems to be what many proxy servers do), but
instead refuses to make assumptions about what the remote server
means.
