you think of streammp3(?), but the 'stream' there is
flash-related, the sound is just played in the background, not in the
sense of 'streaming' from the internet. The mp3 is embedded in the
movie and the movie must have enough frames to play the whole mp3.

If this is not the way you want to embed the sound, e.g. if you want an
event sound, perhaps a actionscript solution will work too?
