Embedding mp3: msg#00022web.ming.general
The Welcome Message said: >Smarter. More attractive. Better smelling. I'm probably on the wrong list then, but hopefully one of you nice-smelling people can help me. I'd like to embed a few mp3 files in a swf (as opposed to streaming mp3). I know ming can start a streaming mp3 and claims it cannot do anything else with sound, but I browsed some of the functions in CVS and found I can create SWFSound from an SWFInput, and I can create an SWFInput from an unsigned char *buffer. So I guess all I need to do is included the mp3 file and point an SWFInput at the start of it? Or am I barking up the wrong tree here? If ming cannot do this are there any other (linux, server-side) tools that might be able to help? Thanks, Darren P.S. The list archives from July onwards are missing at: http://www.opaque.net/pipermail/ming-fun/index.html Are they available anywhere else? |
