Is there a way to configure Apache (say, in a .htaccess file) to instruct

In Mason pre-1.10, there was a "use_dhandlers" parameter, but that went
away. I thought we had replaced that with something, but apparently not.

You should be able to set the 'dhandler_name' parameter to undef or the empty string, and that should turn off dhandlers in that context. However, it looks like we don't actually test this functionality in our regression tests and a quick inspection of the code makes me think it doesn't actually work.

Also, it makes me wonder why dhandler_name is a Request parameter, but autohandler_name is an Interp parameter.

I'll investigate with a couple of tests.
