well, I have http://lamp.verens.com/ up and running already, so it might
not hurt to just set up the DNS pointers, announce it on the main ILUG
list, and see how it goes.
webdev.linux.ie does sound more generic. I specifically chose "lamp."
because it's the main method of deploying a web server, but "webdev."
opens it up to client-side items such as discussion of various W3 techs
such as CSS and HTML (as if there's anything more to discuss with
HTML!), and the other common techs like JavaScript, Flash, etc.
I had intended it to be a server-side discussion board, but I guess - as
long as it's vaguely Linux related - why not?
