Run lighttpd as root: msg#00106web.lighttpd
Jan et al. : I just found lighttpd 2 days ago, and am very excited about this great software. A problem: I could not run # lighttpd -f configure.file as root, but run as a normal user (at port 8080 for example) is ok. Am I missing something? Second, I happened to know another httpd project based on multiplex. In that project, there is a waiting-heap that ranks how fast the client connections are. The faster the client is, the higher priority it is served, so make it more effiecient and less hijacked by bad clients. How's it in in lighttpd? (benckmark tools usually do not simulate slow/bad clients.) Thanks. ModPerl |
