On OS X, I had to fix two things, OS X uses .so files for the
library files so I changed the #if 1 in plugin.c you added
to be just __CYGWIN (I'm guessing CYGWIN defines that?).

Also the writev/UIO stuff seems to be the same as FreeBSD, but
the code for Sun seems to break it, patch attached..

It seems to work now with these changes, thanks :)
