image library

Hi,

I want to run something akin to Image Library:

but in pure Zope, not in Plone. Is Image Library only for Plone?

I've read kupu docs, CUSTOMIZING.txt and EXTENDING.txt, but I am not 
sure what is the easiest way to create such a library. Is there a ready 
image library that would work out of the box on Zope?
