That doesn't affect us. We import the "saved" html, converting it into our own DOM structure, which we re-export to html when kupu "loads" it. That kinda simplifies it... we actually use xslt server side to convert html to our xml, which we then read into a python DOM, which we then break up and import into our own ZODB Document store (which has a full version history of each "element"). When we export, it goes the other way.
