Re: Flickr Authentication: msg#00085web.flickr.api
how are you defining a "session"? you said "java app", so i assume you did not mean http session. tokens expire, so you need to be able to catch the situation and ask the user to re-authenticate at any time. the length of the token's session may not necessarily correspond to your application's session. IMHO, it's incorrect to be storing a token anywhere persistently. i hope someone can correct me there if i've misspoken. ----- Original Message ---- From: sangraal aiken <sangraal-Re5JQEeQqe8AvxtiuMwx3w@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: yws-flickr-hHKSG33TihhbjbujkaE4pw@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Frida y, October 27, 2006 11:03:33 AM Subject: Re: [yws-flickr] Flickr Authentication Ok, so if I have a token already, do I have to go through the authentication process for each session?
